Vaso Rain Barrel with Planter | 58 Gallon Modern Grey

The Vaso is a modern rain barrel with a clean, vase-like shape and a planter on top. It holds 58 gallons and comes in grey, so it fits contemporary homes and patios where a traditional barrel would look out of place.

Highlights

• Capacity: 58 gallons
• Planter top: grow herbs, annuals or trailing plants right on the barrel
• Color: grey
• Enclosed design: fully enclosed barrel

Why a planter rain barrel?

A rain barrel with planter does two jobs in one footprint. You collect water from the roof and grow something on top, which turns the downspout corner into a planted spot instead of a utility area.

Connect it to your downspout

Add a diverter to route water from your gutter into the barrel:

• Rectangular downspout diverter kit (3x4 / 4x5)
• Round downspout diverter kit (4"–5")

Winter care

Empty the barrel before hard freezes, or leave the tap open so water can drain.

Colorado rain barrel law

Colorado allows a single-family home, or a building with four or fewer units, to collect rooftop rainwater in up to two barrels holding 110 gallons combined, without a permit, for outdoor use on the same property. One Vaso (58 gallons) fits within that limit. A pair comes to 116 gallons, which is just over, so pair it with a barrel of 52 gallons or less. This is general information, not legal advice.
